Launched in 2025, the Epic Adventures Summer Camp was Mercy Street’s newest way to invest in the lives of youth in West and South Dallas. This Christ-centered day camp combines fun, adventure, and learning with intentional mentorship and daily devotionals for elementary students in grades K-5th. Through sports, creative arts, field trips, and skill-building workshops, campers grow in confidence, discover new talents, and strengthen their faith, all while building lasting friendships in a safe, encouraging community.
Over the course of nine weeks, students engaged in a variety of activities that blended fun with life-changing opportunities to learn and lead. Days were filled with sports, art, music, STEM projects, swimming lessons, and special field trips that broadened horizons and sparked curiosity. Campers heard from guest speakers, experienced hands-on workshops, and enjoyed team-building activities that encouraged collaboration and confidence.
Every moment was rooted in our mission to cultivate mutually transforming relationships and share the hope of the gospel. Through intentional mentorship and daily devotionals, campers were challenged to explore their God-given gifts, grow in character, and strengthen their faith.
From first-time swimmers earning their green bands to students performing at the Parent Showcase, the inaugural Epic Adventures Summer Camp was a celebration of courage, creativity, and community. We look forward to building on this strong start and welcoming even more youth next summer.
