Mentors walk alongside children and their families to close opportunity gaps and ignite transformational change. The minimum commitment is one year. However, our prayer is that you would see your mentee through High School graduation.
This stage is all about building consistency and trust. Your relationship is developing, and your mentee is learning that you do what you say you’ll do.
The junior high age can be a time of turmoil and chaos for a child. Your job as the mentor is to just hold on and be consistent showing them that a true loving relationship is not conditional.
This stage is all about preparing your mentee to launch into the real world! Encouraging them to pursue the Lord and His plan for their lives. Whether your mentee is headed to college or the workforce you’re working hard to ensure they have everything they need to be successful.
Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a mentoring pro, we’re here for you!
We plan mentor & mentee events about once a quarter. Don’t worry about the details, we got it! We aim to create spaces that are fun and collaborative leading toward a more successful time of engagement.
We have a few full time staff that take the time to walk with a group of mentors as you are engaging in mutual transformation. They are your greatest resource!
Even if you are not able to commit to a mentoring relationship right now, you can still make a huge impact by investing in a mentoring relationship. $200 per month sponsors a mentor/mentee match for an entire year. Help change a community by providing for a mentor and their mentee.
WHAT OUR MENTORS HAVE TO SAY "My experience as a mentor has given me the opportunity to further build my relationship with Jesus and hopefully help Jacob develop a faith of his own.”
