We believe that healthy communities have safe, healthy places for families to gather and for kids to play. Mercy Street Sports is a natural complement to our mentoring program, as it is able to reach the community with accessible, affordable, quality sports leagues.
Our sports leagues provide a positive outlet for youth in West and South Dallas during their critical out-of-school time, as well as offer the accessibility and benefits of sports to those who would not otherwise have access to organized sports. Our leagues also foster character development, strategy, teamwork, resilience, grit, determination, a competitive spirit, and accountability.
In 2025, Mercy Street served over 4500 young athletes this year through soccer, baseball, flag-football, basketball, cheer, golf clinics, lacrosse clinics, volleyball camps, and swimming.
Our Spring and Fall sports leagues are designed to give your child the chance to participate in all four sports, offering a year-round athletic experience. This allows them to explore a variety of sports or focus deeply on one. Registration is $100 per player, which includes a jersey. Discounts are available for Dallas Housing Authority residents and those living in the 75210, 75212, and 75215 ZIP codes. Scholarships are also offered. WHAT OUR ATHLETES HAVE TO SAY My mom’s strength and sacrifices gave me the motivation to be successful, Mercy Street Sports and the people I met there gave me the tools to make it happen.
