Through the Leadership Institute Mercy Street provides internship opportunities focused on preparing you for life after graduation. This summer, spend your time learning in our unique workshops, experience new things through field trips, and learn more about the God of the Universe—all while getting PAID!
We are looking for individuals who love Jesus Christ, are relational and passionate about people, and are interested in urban ministry and social enterprises.
Inner-city Dallas students who have completed 9th grade and attend Uplift Heights, LG Pinkston High School, James Madison High School, Lincoln High School, or are connected to Mercy Street through sports, mentoring, or street teams are invited to apply.
As a college intern, you will spend your summer facilitating the Intensive, where high school students from West and South Dallas are invited to participate in unique programming to grow their faith and spiritual development, job readiness, and social and emotional health. In your role as an intern, you would manage a student-run micro-business and serve as a mentor for the high school participants. You would also live in the community and participate in life-on-life ministry.
