Students: Are you interested in learning a valuable trade skill and exploring a future career in the electrical industry? Join Mercy Street and Master Electrician Rudy Brown, owner of RB’s 413 Electrical, for a hands-on, four-week electrical workshop series designed for students ages 13 to 18.
This engaging workshop will introduce students to foundational electrical concepts, basic wiring principles, safety practices, tools of the trade, and career opportunities in the electrical industry. Through interactive instruction and practical learning experiences, students will gain real-world knowledge while building confidence and developing valuable workforce skills.
Participants will complete a pre-assessment, weekly quizzes, and a post-assessment to measure growth and celebrate progress throughout the series. Awards will be presented to students demonstrating outstanding performance and commitment.
In addition, Mercy Street will sponsor eligible students who are currently 18 years old and choose to pursue an apprentice electrician license, creating a direct pathway into the skilled trades workforce.
