What's New at Mercy Street

New Matches, Same Mission!

We’re thrilled to introduce some of our newest 1:1 Mentoring matches — living examples of how God is moving through relationships at Mercy Street!

Amir & Fernando – Amir, a C.F. Carr student who participated in our summer program, is matched with Fernando, a West Dallas native and longtime Mercy Street coach!! Their families instantly connected — laughter, conversations, and kids playing long after the match party ended.

Sylvia & Susanna – Sylvia, a joyful 9th grader at Uplift Heights and part of our High School 818 Bible Study, was matched with Susanna, from Northwest Bible Church. When asked how she felt about her new mentor, Sylvia’s face lit up with joy and commented how incredibly nice she was!

Regina & Ana – Regina, a sweet 6th grader at C.F. Carr, has been re-matched with Ana, a long-time compassionate mentor of many students. From their first meeting, Ana said, We hit it off great!”

Deinnym & Charlye – Fifth-grader, Deinnym, who attended summer camp with us, has been eagerly waiting for a mentor and now she’s matched with Charlye from Concord Church! Their story is full of legacy and love. Many years ago, Deinnym’s mom, Stevanie, was mentored through Mercy Street, too.

These new matches remind us that through Christ-centered mentoring, lives and communities are mutually transformed.
