February 25th, 2026 Mercy Street Selected as National Grant Recipient Through Foot Locker Foundation and LISC Community Empowerment ProgramMercy Street is honored to announce that we have been selected as one of 20 organizations nationwide to receive a grant through the Foot Locker Foundation and LISC Community Empowerment Program. This national investment supports the well-being of young people while strengthening the capacity of local nonprofits committed to serving them. For Mercy Street, this grant represents more than funding. It represents partnership in our mission to empower youth and families to follow Christ and reach their God-given potential. Through this support, Mercy Street will expand and strengthen our Sports, Mentoring, and Leadership programs across West and South Dallas. The grant will also enhance our After School and Summer Camp initiatives, providing students with safe environments, academic support, spiritual formation, and consistent, caring relationships. Every day across our campuses, youth are mentored by coaches and leaders who speak life, build discipline, and cultivate character. Students receive homework help, engage in enrichment activities, grow in their faith, and develop leadership skills that will serve them for a lifetime. This investment allows us to deepen that impact and continue walking alongside families year-round. We are grateful to the Foot Locker Foundation and LISC for believing in community-driven solutions and for strengthening organizations that are committed to long-term transformation. Together, we are building stronger leaders, stronger families, and stronger communities.
