This North Texas Giving Day, the Mercy Street community showed up in an incredible way. Together, our friends, families, donors, partners, and supporters gave $431,700 to help Mercy Street continue building Christ-centered relationships and creating opportunities for children and families throughout West and South Dallas.

Throughout the campaign, we watched generosity build momentum. $150,000 in matching grants from the M.K. Sowden Foundation and an anonymous donor gave us a strong start, inspiring even more people to participate, and each new gift became part of something much bigger. We are especially grateful for those donor matches that encouraged our community to make their gifts go even further.

North Texas Giving Day is always a special opportunity to see what can happen when a community rallies around a shared mission. This year felt especially meaningful as Mercy Street celebrates a record year of impact. During the 2025–2026 fiscal year, 6,151 children were served through Mercy Street programs and community outreach.

Funds raised will support Mercy Street’s work across Mentoring, Sports, Leadership, After School, Summer Camp, and community outreach, helping us continue providing safe spaces, caring relationships, meaningful experiences, and opportunities for young people to grow in faith, character, confidence, and purpose.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who gave, shared our campaign, encouraged someone else to participate, prayed for Mercy Street, or helped spread the word. We are also thankful for the matching donors whose generosity helped create excitement and momentum throughout the campaign.
