Mercy Street Receives $50,000 Grant from The Dallas Foundation to Advance Summer Camp and After-School Programs

Mercy Street is honored to receive a $50,000 grant from the J.J. “Book” Wilson Field of Interest Fund and the George R. Schrader Innovative Education Fund, both at The Dallas Foundation, in support of our Summer Camp and After-School Programs. This investment accelerates our work to equip students in West and South Dallas with a safe, structured, and enriching environment after school and during the summer, centered on mentorship, leadership development, academic support, and healthy play.

This grant helps expand program capacity, strengthen curriculum delivery, and increase access for more families. With The Dallas Foundation’s partnership, we will deepen outcomes in attendance, academic engagement, and social-emotional growth for the students we serve.
