22nd Annual Luncheon: A Celebration of Faith, Partnership, and Vision

Yesterday’s Annual Luncheon was nothing short of inspiring, thanks to the Lord’s blessings and the encouragement of so many. More than 300 friends, partners, and community leaders gathered to celebrate 22 years of ministry in West and South Dallas and to hear the vision for the next chapter of Mercy Street’s mission.

From the heartfelt testimonies to the powerful message shared by our President & CEO, Carlton Oby, the Lakewest Gymnasium was filled with gratitude, faith, and a shared

commitment to see lives transformed through sports, mentoring, and leadership. We were especially honored to recognize Effie Booker-Dennison as the 2025 Trey Hill Catalyst Award recipient for her outstanding leadership and impact throughout Dallas.
